Move With Mel LLC ("we," "us," "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the Move With Mel app or website.
We collect information you provide directly, including: name, email address, password, profile photo, workout activity, progress photos, community posts and comments, and messages sent through the app. We also collect information automatically, including device type, operating system, app interactions and events, and device or advertising identifiers (such as Apple's Identifier for Advertisers, "IDFA") used for advertising measurement and attribution.
We use your information to provide and improve the Services; send workout reminders and notifications (with your permission); respond to support requests; analyze usage trends; measure the performance of our advertising and attribute app installs and in-app events to marketing campaigns; and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information for money. Some sharing of identifiers and app-event data for advertising measurement may be considered a "sale" or "share" under certain state laws — see Sections 5 and 11 for your choices.
We work with: Supabase (database and authentication), Apple (In-App Purchases and sign-in), RevenueCat (subscription management), Expo (app infrastructure), Sentry (crash diagnostics), Resend (transactional email), and AppsFlyer (mobile attribution and advertising measurement). With your permission (see Section 5), AppsFlyer helps us measure advertising and may share app-install and app-event data and identifiers with advertising platforms such as Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and TikTok so we can understand which campaigns are effective.
On first launch we ask your permission to track your activity across other companies' apps and websites, using Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework. If you allow tracking, we and our measurement partner (AppsFlyer) may use your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) and share limited app events (such as registering, starting a subscription, or completing a workout) with advertising partners to measure and improve our ads. If you decline, we do not use the IDFA for this purpose. You can change this choice anytime in your device's Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. We do not use your progress photos, body measurements, or other health content for advertising.
Information about your workouts, physical measurements, and progress photos constitutes health-related data. We use this information to provide the Services and do not share your progress photos, measurements, or other health content with third parties for marketing or advertising.
Progress photos you upload are stored securely and are private by default. They are not shared with other users unless you choose to post to the community feed. We will not use your transformation photos in external marketing without your separate express written consent.
Posts and photos you share to the community feed are visible to other subscribers. Exercise care about what personal information you include in community posts.
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period thereafter. You may request deletion by contacting movewithmelfit@gmail.com.
You may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data; opt out of certain data uses; and withdraw consent. Contact movewithmelfit@gmail.com. We will respond within 45 days.
California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete it, the right to correct inaccurate information, the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and the right to non-discrimination. We do not sell personal information for money. You can opt out of the sharing of identifiers and app-event data for advertising measurement by declining the App Tracking Transparency prompt, or by disabling tracking in your device Settings. The Services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time and will notify you of material changes through the app or by email.
